The English author and physicist Charles Percy Snow wrote the idea of “Two Cultures”, which debated the difference of literary and science intellectuals. This debate argued many voices between non-scientist and scientist. In Snow’s novel he states that when science was taking over literary intellectuals believed that literature was the leading subject. I believe that both non-scientist and scientist make arguments and counter-arguments about both sides in the world we live in today. Brockman, who wrote the novel “Third Culture”, described his ideas of technology about art and science. His ideas show that humans display us how we live between conversations, which relates to his main idea of art and science. These ideas of the two cultures relate to myself and to all of UCLA because we live in one of the most cultured cities in the world, Los Angeles.
